[verse 1] These thingis saith the Lord God, On three grete trespassis of Moab, and on foure, Y shal not conuerte hym, for that he brente the boonys of the kyng of Ydume vn to ash. [verse 2] And Y shal sende fijr in to Moab, and it shal deuoure the housis of Carioth; and Moab shal dye in sown of trumpe. [verse 3] And Y shal distruye the domysman of the mydil therof, and Y shal slea alle his princis with hym, saith the Lord. her ydols disceiueden hem, after whom the faders of hem wenten. [verse 5] And Y shal sende fijr in to Juda, and it shal deuoure the housis of Jerusalem. [verse 6] These thingus saith the Lord [Lord God A.] , On three grete [Om. K.] trespassis of Yrael, and on foure, Y shal not conuerte hym, for that he solde a iust man for syluer, and a poore man for shoone. [verse 7] Whiche breken to gydre on [as A.] dust of the erthe the hedis of pore men, and bowen awey the waye of meeke men; the sone and his fadir wente to a wenche, that thei defouliden myn holy name. [verse 8] And on clothis leyde to wedde thei eeten bysidis eche auter, and drunken wijn of dampnyd men in the hous of her God. [verse 9] Forsothe Y distruyede Ammorey fro the face of hem [hym A.] , whos hienesse of cedris the hyenesse of hym, and he strong as an ook; and Y brake to gidre the fruyte of hym aboue, and the rotis of hym bynethe. [verse 10] Y am, that made ȝou for to stye vp fro the lond of Egypt, and Y ledde ȝou out in desert fourty ȝeer, that ȝe shulde weelde the lond of Ammorrey. [verse 11] And Y reyside of ȝour sonys in to pro|phetis, and of ȝour ȝunge men Naȝareys. Wher it is not thus, ȝe sonys of Yrael? saith the Lord. [verse 12] And ȝe ȝauen wijn to Naȝareys, and ȝe comaundiden to pro|phetis, sayinge, Prophecie ȝe not. [verse 13] Loo! Y shal sowne strongly vndir ȝou, as a wayn chargid with hay sowneth strongly. [verse 14] And fliȝt shal perische fro the [Om. A.] swift, and a strong man shal not weelde his vertue, and a miȝty man [Om. AGH.] in strengthe shal not [verse 15] saue his soule, or lijf; and a man hold|ynge bowe shal not stonde, and the swift in his feet shal not be saued; and the [verse 16] styer of hors shal not saue his soule, and the stronge in herte amonge men shal flee nakid in that day, saith the Lord.
