[verse 1] This is [Om. C sec. m. E.] the wrd, that is do to Jere|mye [verse 2] fro the Lord, seiende, These thingus seith the Lord God of Irael, seiende, Writ to thee alle these wrdus that Y spac to thee, in the boc. [verse 3] Loo! forsothe daȝes comen, seith the Lord, and Y shal turne the conuerting of my puple of Irael and of Juda, seith the Lord; and Y shal turne them to the lond that Y ȝaf to the fadris of them, and thei shul welde it. [verse 4] And these the [Om. C pr. m.] wrdus, that the Lord spac to Irael, and to Juda. [verse 5] For thes thingus seith the Lord, Voys of huge drede wee han herd; ferd, and ther ys not pes.

[verse 6] Asketh, and seeth, if the male geteth; whi thanne saȝ Y of eche man the hond vpon his leende, as of the trauailende with childe, and turned ben alle ther faces in to ȝelȝ? [verse 7] Wo! for gret that day, ne ther is his lyc; and tyme of tribula|cioun is to Jacob, and of it he shal ben saued. [verse 8] And it shal be, in that dai, seith the Lord of ostus, Y shal to-brose his ȝoc fro thi necke, and his bondus Y shal to|breke; and no mor shul lordshipen to [verse 9] hym alienus, but `thei shul [Om. E pr. m.] serue to the Lord, ther God, and to Dauid, ther king, whom Y shal rere to them. [verse 10] Thou ther|fore ne drede thou, my seruaunt Jacob, seith the Lord, ne inwardly drede thou, Irael; for lo! Y shal saue thee fro a ferr lond, and thi [thine C.] seed fro the lond of the caitifte of them. And turned [turned aȝein E sec. m.] shal ben aȝeen [Om. E.] Jacob, and resten, and with alle goodus flowen; and ther shal not be whom he shal dreden. [verse 11] For Y with thee am, seith the Lord, that Y saue [haue K.] thee. For|sothe Y shal don ful ending in alle Jen|tiles, in which Y scaterede thee; thee forsothe Y schal not make in to ful end|ing, but Y shal chastise thee in dom, that thou be not seen to thee gilteles. [verse 12] For these thingus seith the Lord, Vnhele|able thi brosure, werst thi wounde. [verse 13] Ther is not, that deme thi dom to bynde to; of [of thy E pr. m. Om. CE sec. m.] curingus [curing E pr. m.] ys not profit to thee. [verse 14] Alle thi loueres forȝeeten thee, thee shul not sechen; with [Om. E pr. m.] the wounde forsothe [Om. E pr. m.] of the [Om. AK. thyn E pr. m.] enemy Y smot thee, by [Om. E pr. m.] cruel chas|tising; for the multitude of thi wycke|nesse [wickidnes AGHK.] , hard ben mad thi synnes. [verse 15] What criest thou vp on thi to-treding? vnhele|able is thi sorewe; for the multitude of thi wickidnesse [wickenesse E.] , and for thin harde synnes, Y dide these thingus to thee. [verse 16] Therfore alle that eten thee, shul ben deuoured, and alle thin enemyes in to cai|tyfte shul be lad; and that thee [ȝee AGH.] wasten, shuln ben wasted, and alle thi robberes Y shal ȝyue in to prei. helen parfitly thi felle wounde to thee, and of thi woundus Y shal hele thee, seith the Lord; for cast awei thei clep|eden thee, Sion; this [that A.] is she [Om. E pr. m.] that hadde not `aȝeen serchere [an aȝeen sechere EK. aȝein secher GH.] . [verse 18] These thingus seith the Lord, Lo! I shal conuerte the con|uerting of the tabernacles of Jacob, and to his rooues Y shal han [ha K.] mercy; and bild vp shal be the cite in his heiȝte, and the temple after his order shal be foundid. [verse 19] And gon out shal preising of hem and vois of pleieres, and Y shal multeplie them, and thei shul not ben lassid; and Y shal glorifie them, and thei shuln not be thynned. [verse 20] And the sonus `of it [Om. E pr. m.] shul ben as fro the bygynnyng, and the cum|panye `of it [Om. E pr. m.] before me shal abide stille; and I shal visete aȝen alle that troblen hym. [verse 21] And ther shal ben his duke of hym, and a [Om. E pr. m.] prince from his myddel shal [Om. K.] be broȝt forth; and Y shal pre|senten hym, and he shal neȝhe [neȝe to E pr. m.] to [Om. A.] me; who forsothe is this, that `leye to [presente C pr. m. E pr. m.] his herte, that he neȝhe to me? seith the Lord. [verse 22] And ȝee shul be to me in to pu|ple, and Y shal be to ȝou in to God. [verse 23] Lo! in Jentilis the whirlewind of the Lord, wodenes goende out, tempest fall|ende [ful|fillinge AGHK.] , in the hed of vnpitous men thei shul alle togidere resten. [verse 24] Shal not turne awei the wrathe of indignacioun the Lord, to the tyme he do, and fulfille the thenk|ing of his herte; in the laste of daȝes ȝee shul vndurstonden thoe [hem E pr. m.] thynges.
