PSALM XCIV. [The preising of the song, to hym Dauid.]
[verse 1] Cometh, ful out ioȝe wee to the Lord; inwardli ioȝe wee to God, our helthe ȝiuere. [verse 2] Befor ocupie wee his face in knouleching; and in salmys inwardli ioȝe wee to hym. [verse 3] For God a gret Lord, and a gret king ouer alle godis; for the Lord shal not poote abac his folc. [verse 4] For in his hond ben alle the [Om. AEH.] coostis of erthe [the erthe E.] ; and the heiȝtis of hillis ben of hym. [verse 5] For of hym is the se, and he made it; and the drie his hondis formeden. [verse 6] Cometh, ho|noure wee, and falle wee doun before God, wepe wee befor the Lord, for he made vs; for he is the Lord oure God. [verse 7] And wee the puple of his leswe; and the shep of his hond. [verse 8] To dai if hys vois ȝee han herd; wileth not [not aȝeen AEH.] hardne ȝoure hertis. [verse 9] As in the terring, after the day; of tempting in desert. Where tempteden me ȝoure fa|dris; proueden and seȝen my werkis. [verse 10] Fourti ȝeer offended I was to that ienera|cioun; and I seide, Euermor these erren in herte. [verse 11] And thes knewen not my weyes, to whom I swor in my wrathe; thei shul not entre in to my reste.
