Lord, refut thou art maad to vs; fro ieneracioun in to ieneracioun. [verse 2] Befor that hillis weren maad, or were formed the erthe and the roundnesse; fro world `and vn to [in to A. and in to EH.] world thou art God. [verse 3] Ne turne thou a man in to mecnesse; and thou seidist, Beth conuertid, ȝee sones of men. [verse 4] For a thousend ȝeer befor thin eȝen; as ȝisterdai that is passid. And the warde in [verse 5] the nyȝt, that for noȝt ben had; the ȝeris of hem shul ben. [verse 6] Erli as an erbe passe

he, erli flurshe [floure AEH.] he, and passe; at euen falle he doun, inwardli harde he, and waxe drie. [verse 7] For we han failid in thi wrathe; and in thi wodnesse wee ben disturbid. [verse 8] Thou hast put oure wickidnessis [wickenessis E. wickidnesse H.] in thi siȝt; oure world in the liȝting of thi chere. [verse 9] For alle oure daȝis faileden; and in thi wrathe wee han failid. Oure ȝeris, as an [verse 10] ireyn, shul be bethoȝt; the daȝis of oure ȝeris in tho seuenti ȝer [ȝeeris AEH.] . If forsothe in myȝtis eiȝteti ȝer; and the more ouer of them trauaile and sorewe. For ther ouer|cam debonernesse; and wee shul be chas|tisid. [verse 11] Who knewȝ the power of thi wrathe; and for thi drede thi wrathe de|noumbren? [verse 12] Thi riȝthond so mac knowen; and the taȝt with herte in wisdam. [verse 13] Be thou conuertid, Lord, hou longe; and louli preyable be thou vp on thi seruauns. [verse 14] Wee ben fulfild erly with thi mercy; wee han ful out ioȝed, and delitid in alle oure daȝis. [verse 15] Wee han ioȝid for the daȝis in whiche thou hast mekid vs; the ȝeris in whiche wee han seen euelis. [verse 16] Behold, Lord, in to thi seruauns, and in to thi werkys; and reule forth the sones of hem. [verse 17] And be the shynyng of the Lord oure God vp on vs; and the werkis of oure hondis riȝtforth reule `vp on [vp A.] vs; and the werk of oure hondis reule riȝtforth.
