PSALM LXXIV.*. [In to the ende, the salm of the song of Asaf, ne destroȝe thou, or shend.]

[verse 2] Wee shul knouleche to thee, God, we shul knouleche; and inwardli wee shul clepe thi name. [verse 3] Wee shul telle thi mer|ueilis, whan I shal take tyme; I riȝtwis|nessis shal deme. [verse 4] Molten is the erthe, and alle that dwellen in it; I confermede the pileeris of it. [verse 5] I seide to the wicke*. [wickid H.] men, Wileth not wickidli don; and to the gilteris, Ne wileth not reren*. [areren EH.] vp the horn. [verse 6] Wileth not reren up in to heiȝte ȝoure horn; wileth not speken aȝen God wickidnesse. [verse 7] For nouther fro the est, [verse 8] ne fro the west, ne fro*. [Om. A.] desert hillis; for God is the domysman. [verse 9] This he mekith, and this he enhaunceth; for the chalis in the hond of the Lord of cler wyn, ful of mengd. And he bowide*. [bowith AH.] in of that in to that; nerthelatere the dreste*. [drestis AEH.] of it is not wastid out, ther shul drinke of it alle the synneres of erthe*. [the erthe E.]. [verse 10] I forsothe shal telle out in to the world; I shal synge to God of Jacob. [verse 11] And alle the hornes of synneres I shal to-breke; and the*. [Om. A.] hornes of the riȝtwis shul ben en|hauncid.
