PSALM II. [The salm of Dauyd.]
[verse 1] Whi gruccheden Jentilis; and puplys sweteli thoȝten inwardli veyne thingus? [verse 2] Ther stode neeȝh the kingus of the [Om. C.] erthe; and princis kamen togidere in to oon, aȝen the Lord, and aȝen his Crist. [verse 3] To-breke we the bondis of hem; and aferr throwe we fro vs the ȝoc of hem. [verse 4] That dwelleth in heuenes shal scorne them; and the Lord shal bemowe [mow A.] them. [verse 5] Thanne he shal speke to hem in his wrathe; and in his wodnesse disturbe [distourble A.] them togidere. [verse 6] I forsothe am sett king fro hym vpon Sion, the holi mount of hym; prechende
