Blissed [Blessid is A.] the Lord my God, that techeth myn hondis to strif; and mi fingeris to bataile. [verse 2] My mercy, and my refut; myn vndertakere, and my delyuerere. My de|fendere, and in hym I hopide; that vndir|pooteth [vndir puttist A.] my puple vnder me. [verse 3] Lord, what is a man, for thou hast myche maad knowen to hym; or the sone of man, for thou eymest hym? [verse 4] A man to vanyte is maad lic; his daȝis as shadewe passen. [verse 5] Lord, bowe doun thin heuenes, and cum doun; touche the monteynes, and thei shuln smoken. [verse 6] Leite thou leitingis [leitynge AH.] , and thou shalt scateren hem; send out thin arewis, and thou shalt al [Om. C pr. m.] disturbe them. [verse 7] Send out thin hond fro an heiȝ, tac [and tac C.] me out, and deliuere me of many watris; and fro the hond of alien sones. [verse 8] Whos mouth spac vanyte; and the riȝthalf of hem the riȝthalf of wickidnesse. [verse 9] God, a newe song I shal singe to thee; in the ten cordid sautre I shal do salm to thee. [verse 10] That ȝiuest helthe to kingis; that aȝeen boȝtist Dauid, thi seruaunt, fro the malice do|inge swerd tac me awey. [verse 11] And pull me awei fro the hond of alienes sones, whos mouth spac vanyte; and the riȝthalf of hem the riȝthalf of wickidnesse. [verse 12] Whos sones; as newe plauntingis in ther ȝouthe. The doȝtris of hem maad semely; en|hourned [verse 13] aboute as the licnesse of the tem|ple.

The celeris of hem fulle; bowende out fro that into it. The shep of hem ful of [verse 14] frut, aboundende in ther goingis; the oxen of hem fatte. Ther is not falling of wal, ne passing ouer; ne cry in the stretis of hem. [verse 15] Blisful, thei seiden, the puple, to whom these thingis ben; blisful the pu|ple, of the [Om. AEH.] whiche the Lord is his God.
