[verse 1] Vp on the flodis of Babiloyne there wee seten, and wepten; whil wee recordeden [verse 2] of Sion. In withies in the myddes of it; [verse 3] wee heengen [hangeden AH.] vp [vpon H.] oure instrumens. For there askeden vs that caityues broȝten vs; the woordis of songis of despit. And thei that `ledden aweie [broȝten E pr. m.] vs; An ympne sing|eth [verse 4] [syngen A.] to vs of the songis of Sion. Hou shul wee singe the song of the Lord; in an [verse 5] hethen [alien C pr. m.] lond? If I shule forȝeten of thee, Jerusalem; to forȝeting be ȝiue my riȝt|hond [verse 6] .
