PSALM CIV. [Alleluia, Alleluia.]

[verse 1] Knoulecheth to the Lord, and inwardly clepeth his name; telleth out among Jen|tilis his werkis. [verse 2] Singeth to hym, and doth salm to hym, and tellith alle his [verse 3] merueilis; be ȝee preisid in his holi name. Glade the herte of ȝou sechende [verse 4] the Lord; secheth the Lord, and beth confermed; secheth his face euermor. [verse 5] Haueth [Hath AH.] mynde of his merueilis, that he dide; his wonders, and the domes of his mouth. [verse 6] The sed of Abraham, his ser|uaunt; the sonus of Jacob, his chosen. [verse 7] He the Lord oure God; in al erthe his domes. [verse 8] Myndeful he was in to the world of his testament; of the woord that he sente in to a thousend ieneraciouns. [verse 9] The whiche he disposide to Abraham; and of his oth to Isaac. [verse 10] And he sette it to Jacob in to an heste; and to Irael in to euere lastende testament. [verse 11] Seiende, To thee I shal ȝeue the lond of Chanaan; the litle corde of ȝoure eritage. [verse 12] Whan thei weren in short noumbre; most fewe and tilieris of it. [verse 13] And thei passiden thurȝ fro folc in to folc; and fro reume in to an other puple. [verse 14] He lafte not a man to noȝe to them; and he chastiside for hem kingis. [verse 15] Wileth not touche my cristis; and in my profetis wileth not ben waried. [verse 16] And he clepide hungir vp on the [Om. A.] erthe; and alle fastnesse of bred he to-ponede. [verse 17] He sente beforn hem a man; and [Om. AH.] into a thral Joseph is sold. [verse 18] Thei mekeden in stockis his feet, iren passide thurȝ hys [verse 19] lif; to the time that his woord shulde come. The speche of the Lord en|flaumede [verse 20] hym; the king sente and loosede hym, the prince of puplis and lafte hym. [verse 21] He sette hym lord of his hous; and prince of all his possessioun. [verse 22] That he

shulde enforme [techen E pr. m.] his princis as hymself; and his olde men prudence he shulde teche. [verse 23] And Irael entride in to Egipt; and Jacob a tiliere was in the lond of Cham. [verse 24] And he encrecide his puple hugely; and fastnede hym vpon his ene|mys. [verse 25] He turned the herte of hem, that thei hateden his puple; and treccherie shulden do in to his seruauns. [verse 26] He sente Moises, his seruaunt; and Aron, hym whom he ches. [verse 27] And he putte in hem the woordis of his tocnes; and of his wonders in the lond of Cham. [verse 28] He sente dercnessis, and made derc; and vntymely he fullfilde not his woordis. [verse 29] And he turnede the watris of hem in to blod; and sloȝ the fisshis of hem. [verse 30] And the lond of hem ȝaf froggis; in the preue chaumbris of ther kingus. [verse 31] He seide, and ther cam an hound fleeȝe; and gnattis in alle the coostis of hem. [verse 32] And he putte the reynes of hem hayl; fyr brennende in the lond of hem. [verse 33] And he smot the vynes of hem, and the fige placis of hem; and he to-broside the wode of the coostis of hem. [verse 34] He seide, and ther cam a locust; and worte werm of the whiche was no noumbre. [verse 35] And it eet al the hei in the lond of hem; and eet al the frut of the lond of hem. [verse 36] And he smot alle the firste goten in the lond of hem; the firste frutis of [of hem A.] alle the trauaile of hem. [verse 37] And he broȝte hem out with syluer and gold; and ther was not a [an H.] syk man [Om. AH.] in the linagis of hem. [verse 38] Egipt gladede in ther forth going; for ther drede lai in vp on hem. [verse 39] He straȝte out a cloude, in to the proteccioun of hem; and fyr, that he shulde liȝte to hem by the nyȝt. [verse 40] Thei askeden, and ther kam a kurlu [corlure E.] ; and with the bred of heuene he fulfilde hem. [verse 41] He to-brac the ston, and ther flowiden watris; ther wenten awei flodis in the drie. [verse 42] For myndeful he was of his holi woord; that he hadde to

Abraham, his child. [verse 43] And he broȝte out his puple in ful out ioȝing; and his chosene in glading. [verse 44] And he ȝaf to them the regiouns of Jentilis; and the traualis of puplis thei weldeden. [verse 45] That thei kepe his iustifiyngus; and his lawe they aȝeen seche.
