[verse 2] The sonis of Mellezemie; Zacharias the first goten, Jodiel the secounde, Sabadias the thrid, [verse 3] Ythamael the ferth, Aylam the fyfthe, Johannam the sixte, Elionenai the se|uenthe. [verse 4] The sonis forsothe of Obed|edome; Semeias the first goten, Josadad [Josadab C.] the secounde, Joacha the thrid, Saccar [verse 5] the ferth, Athanael the fyft, Amyhel the sixt, Isachar the seuenth, Pollathi the eyȝthe, for to hym the Lord blessede. [verse 6] To Semei forsothe, his sone, ben born sonys, prefectis of their meynes; forsothe thei weren most stronge men. [verse 7] The sonys than of Semei; Othyn, and Raphael, and Obedihel, and Zabad; and the bretheren of hym most stronge men; Helyu also, and Samachias. [verse 8] Alle thes of the sonys of Obededom; thei, and the sonys, and the bretheren of hem, most stronge men to mynystren, two and sexty of Obededom. [verse 9] Bot of Meellymye the sonis and bre|theren, most stronge men and most myȝty, eiȝtene. [verse 14] Thanne the este lott fell to Jemelie; forsothe to Zachary, the sone of hym, most wijs man and tauȝt, fel thoruȝ lott the northe coost; [verse 15] to Obededom forsothe and his sonys at the south, in whiche partye of the hous was [verse 16] the counseil of the [Om. B.] elderis; to Sephyma and Chosa at the west, besyde the ȝate that ledith to the weye of the steyȝinge up, warde aȝein warde. [verse 22] The sonys of Jeihely; Jethan, and Joel, his brother, vpon the tresoures of the hous [verse 23] of the Lord, Amyramytis, and Isaaritis, and Ebronytis, and Esielitis. [verse 24] Subahul forsothe, the sone of Jerson, sone of [verse 25] Moysi, prouost of the tresoure; and the brother of hym, Eliezer; whos sone Raabia; and of this the sone Asaias; of this the sone Joram; and of this the sone Zechri; bot and of this the sone Selemyth. [verse 28] Forsothe alle thes thingis ha|lowed Samuel, seer, and [of ABCFH.] Saul, the sone of Ciz, and Abner, the sone of Ner, and Joab, the sone of Saruye; and thei alle haloweden hem bi the hond of Salomyth and his bretheren. [verse 29] To Ysaarites forsothe befor was Chononyas and his sonis, to the werkis with out forth vpon Yrael, to techen and to demen hem. [verse 30] `Bot of Ebronytis [Of Ebronytis forsothe A.] , Asabias, and Sabayas, and his britheren, most stronge men, a thousand and seuen hundrith, beforn weren to Yrael beȝond Jordan aȝein the west, in alle the werkis of the Lord, and in [Om. H.] to the ser|uyse of the kyng. [verse 31] Of Ebronytis forsothe prince was Herias, aftir the meynes and kynredis of hem. The fouretithe ȝeer of kyng Dauid ben noumbred and founden [verse 32] most strong men in Jaser Galaad; and the bretheren of hem, of more stronge age, two thousand seuen hundrith, princis of meynes. Forsothe kyng Dauid beforn putte hem to Rubenytis and Gadditis, and to the half lynage of Manasse, in to alle the seruyce of God and of the kyng.
