[verse 1] But in tho daies, whanne the noum|bre of disciplis encreesside, the Grekis grutchiden aȝens the Ebrews, for that her widewis weren dispisid [dispysid; that is, the Greek widewis, as more rude ei|ther boistouse, weren put awey of Ebreis, that tho schulden not mynystre; either that nes|cessaries weren not mynystrid so wel to Greek widewis, as to Ebrew widewis.
