[verse 10] Her aftir|ward, britheren, be ȝe coumfortid in the Lord, and in [Om. k pr. m.] the miȝt of his vertu. [verse 11] Clothe [Clothe ȝe A pr. m. Eg.] ȝou with the [Om. h.] armere [aarmers gk.] of God, that ȝe moun stonde aȝens [aȝens the Ia. the k.] aspiynges [assailyngis k.] of the deuel. [verse 12] For whi stryuyng is not to vs aȝens fleisch and blood, but aȝens princis [the princis CEIKMQRUXabceghkoαβ.] and potestatis, aȝens gouernours of the world of these derknessis, aȝens spiritual thingis of wickidnesse, in he|uenli thingis. [verse 13] Therfor take ȝe [Om. IQ pr. m.] the [Om. E.] ar|mere of God, that ȝe moun aȝenstonde in the yuel dai; and in alle thingis stonde [stonde ȝe k.] perfit [perfiȝtly a.] . [verse 14] Therfor stonde ȝe, and be [be ȝe KRabegkoαβ. beth I.] gird aboute [aboue a.] ȝoure leendis in sothe|fastnesse, and clothid with the haburioun [verse 15] of riȝtwisnesse, and ȝoure feet schood in making redi of the gospel of pees. [verse 16] In alle thingis take ȝe the scheld of feith, in which [the which k.] ȝe moun quenche alle the firy dartis of `the worste [him that is moost wickid I. the worste enemy xke.] . [verse 17] And take ȝe [Om. k pr. m.] the helm of helthe, and the swerd of the Goost, that is, the word of God.
