[verse 1] And whanne ȝe weren deed in ȝoure [verse 2] giltis and synnes, in which ȝe wandriden sum tyme aftir the cours of this world, aftir the prince of the power of this eir, of the spirit that worchith now in to [verse 3] the sones of vnbileue; in which also we `alle lyueden [lyueden alle I. lyueden g.] sum tyme in the desiris of oure fleisch, doynge the willis of the fleisch and of thouȝtis [the thouȝtis hk sec. m.] , and we weren bi kynde the sones of wraththe, as [as and k sec. m.] [verse 4] othere men; but God, that is riche in merci, for his ful myche charite in which [verse 5] he louyde vs, ȝhe, whanne we weren deed in synnes, quikenede [he quikenide k.] vs togidere in Crist, bi whos grace ȝe ben sauyd, [verse 6] and aȝen reiside togidere, and made to|gidere to sitte in heuenli thingis in Crist [verse 7] Jhesu; that he schulde schewe in the worldis aboue comynge the plenteuouse ritchessis of his grace in goodnesse on vs in Crist Jhesu. [verse 9] it is the ȝifte of God, not of werkis, that no man haue glorie. [verse 10] For we ben the makyng of hym, maad of nouȝt in Crist Jhesu, in good werkis, whiche God hath ordeyned, that we go in tho werkis. [verse 11] For which thing be ȝe myndeful, that sumtyme ȝe weren hethene in fleisch, which [the which k.] weren seid prepucie, fro that that is seid circumcisioun maad bi hond in [verse 12] fleisch; and ȝe weren in [Om. k.] that time with out Crist, alienyd fro the lyuyng of Israel, and gestis of testamentis [the testamentis IR pr. m.] , not hauynge hope of biheest, and with outen God in this world. [verse 13] But now in Crist Jhesu ȝe that weren sum tyme fer, ben maad nyȝ in the blood of Crist. [verse 14] For he is oure pees, that made bothe oon, and vnbyndynge the myddil wal of a wal with out morter, enmytees in his fleisch; [verse 15] and [and he Ia sec. m.] auoidide the lawe of maundementis bi domes, that he make twei in hym silf [verse 16] in to a [Om. O pr. m. O a sec. m.] newe man, makynge pees, to recounsele bothe in o bodi to God bi the cros, sleynge the enemytees in hym silf. [verse 17] And he comynge prechide pees to ȝou that weren fer, and pees to hem that [verse 18] weren niȝ; for bi hym we bothe han niȝ comyng in o spirit to the fadir. [verse 19] Therfor now ȝe ben not gestis and straungeris [ether herbored men K marg.] , but ȝe ben citeseyns [the citezenes R pr. m.] of seyntis, and [verse 20] houshold meine of God; aboue bildid on the foundement of apostlis and of pro|fetis, vpon that [the hk.] hiȝeste corner stoon, [verse 21] Crist [of Crist EI pr. m. Q pr. m. g.] Jhesu; in whom ech bildyng maad waxith in to an hooli temple in the Lord. [verse 22] In whom also `be ȝe [ȝe ben h pr. m.] bildid togidere in to the habitacle of God, in the Hooli Goost.
