[verse 1] Forsothe Salomon beeldide his hows in thretene ȝeer, and vnto parfite brouȝte forth. [verse 2] And he bildide the hows of the wijld wode of Liban, of an hundrid cu|bitis of length, and of fifti cubitis of brede, and of thretti cubitis of heiȝt; and foure aluris betwixe the cedre pilers; for|sothe the cedre trees he hewȝ into pilers. [verse 3] And he clothide al the chaumbre with cedre table beeldyngis; the which chaum|bre was born vp with fyue and fourti pilers. The too ordre forsothe hadde [verse 4] fifteen pilers, sette togidre aȝens hem [verse 5] self, and `for aȝen [fro the regioun E pr. m. forn aȝen E sec. m.] hem self beholdynge, with euen space betwixe the pilerys; and vpon the pilers foure cornerd trees, in alle thingis euen. [verse 6] And the chaumbre of pilers he made of fifti cubitis of length, and of thretti cubitis of brede; and another chaumbre into the face of the more chaumbre; and pilers, and the heedis vpon the pilers he made. [verse 7] For|sothe the chaumbre of the see, in the which is the chayer of dom, he made; and couerde with cedre trees, fro the pawment vnto the cop. [verse 8] And the litil hows, in the which he sat to deme, was in the mydil chaumbre, lijk maner werk. Forsothe he made an hows to the douȝ|ter of Pharao, whom Salomon weddide, siche maner werk as this chaumbre. [verse 9] Alle thingis with precious stoonus, `the whiche [that C pr. m.] at a maner rewle and mesure, both with ynforth and with outforth, weren loken, fro the foundement vnto the cop of the
