[verse 1] For [Forwhi cab sec. m. c sec. m.] of the mynystrie that is [was b.] maad to hooli men, it is to me of plente to [verse 2] write to ȝou. For Y knowe ȝoure wille, for the which Y haue glorie of ȝou anentis Macedonyes, for also Acaie is redi fro [for A pr. m.] a ȝeer passid, and ȝoure loue hath stirid ful manye. [verse 3] And we han sent britheren, that this thing that we glorien of ȝou, be not auoidid in this [Om. EQ pr. m. egk.] parti, that as Y seide, ȝe be redi. [verse 4] Lest whanne Macedonyes comen with me, and fynden ȝou vnredi, we be schamed, that we seien [siȝen ERgoαβ. sauȝen I. syȝe b.] ȝou not, in this substaunce. [verse 5] Therfor Y gesside necessarie to preie britheren, that thei come bifore to ȝou, and make redi [Om. EIQ pr. m. e pr. m. g.] this bihiȝt blessyng to be redi, so as blessing, and not as aueryce. [verse 6] For Y seie this thing, he that sowith scarseli, schal also repe scarseli; and he that sowith in blessyngis, schal `repe also [also repe Rα.] of [in b.] blessyngis. [verse 7] Ech man as he castide in his herte, not of heuynesse, or of nede; for [forwhi A pr. m. cb sec. m. c sec. m. forsothe a.] God loueth a glad ȝyuere. [verse 8] And God is miȝti to make al grace abounde [to abounde k pr. m.] in ȝou, that ȝe in alle thingis euere more han al sufficience, and [verse 9] abounde in to al good werk; as it is writun, He delide abrood, he ȝaf to pore men, his riȝtwisnesse dwellith withouten ende. [verse 10] And he that mynystrith seed to the sowere, schal ȝyue also breed to ete, and he schal multiplie ȝoure seed, and make myche [Om. R.] the encreessingis of fruytis [verse 11] of ȝoure riȝtwisnesse; that in alle thingis ȝe maad [ben maad k pr. m.] riche waxen [wexen QRh et alii. and wexen k pr. m.] plenteuouse in to
