[verse 1] Be ȝe my foleweris, as Y am of Crist. [verse 2] And, britheren, Y preise ȝou, that bi alle thingis ȝe ben myndeful of me; and as Y bitook to ȝou my comaundementis [comaundement k.] , ȝe holden. [verse 3] But Y wole that ȝe wite, that Crist is heed of ech man; but the heed of the womman is the man; and the heed of Crist is God.
