[verse 1] And the thridde dai weddyngis weren maad in the Cane [Cana hi.] of Galilee; and the modir of Jhesu was there. [verse 2] And Jhesus was clepid, and hise disciplis, to the wed|dyngis. [verse 3] And whanne wijn failide, the modir of Jhesu seide to hym, Thei han not wijn. [verse 4] And Jhesus seith to hir, What to me and to thee, womman? myn our cam not ȝit. [verse 5] His modir seith to the mynystris, What euere thing he seie [seith IOR.] to ȝou, do ȝe. [verse 6] And there weren set `sixe stonun cannes [sixe stenes E.] , aftir the clensyng of the [Om. K pr. m. b pr. m.] Jewis, holdynge ech tweyne [two Ik.] ether [or E et P passim.] thre metretis [ether mesuris K marg.] . [verse 7] And Jhesus seith to hem, Fille ȝe the pottis with watir. And thei filliden hem, vp to the mouth. [verse 8] And Jhe|sus seide to hem, Drawe ȝe now, and bere ȝe to the architriclyn. And thei baren. [verse 9] And whanne the architriclyn hadde tastid the watir maad wiyn, and wiste not wherof it was, but the mynystris wisten that drowen the watir, the architriclyn [verse 10] clepith the spouse, and seith to hym, Ech man settith first good wiyn, and whanne men [thai O.] ben fulfillid [fillid IKSaegα.] , thanne that that [at O. Om. S.] is [And Natanael k.]
