The erthe and the fulnesse [plentee I.] therof is `the Lordis [of the Lord I.] ; the world, and alle that dwellen therynne `is the Lordis [Om. I. ben the Lordis V.] . [verse 2] For he foundide it on the sees; and made it redi on floodis. [verse 3] Who schal stie [stie up I.] in to the hil of the Lord; ethir who schal stonde in the hooli place of hym? [verse 4] The innocent in hondis [hondis, that is, in werkis K text V marg.] , and in cleene herte; whiche [the whiche I.] took not his soule in veyn, nether swoor in gile to his neiȝbore. [verse 5] `This man [He, this I.] schal take blessyng of the Lord; and mercy of God his helthe [helthe ȝiuere I.] . [verse 6] This is the generacioun of men sekynge hym; of men sekynge the face of God of Jacob. [verse 7] Ȝe princes, take vp ȝoure ȝatis, and ȝe euerelastynge ȝatis, be [beth I. be ȝe K sec. m.] reisid; and the kyng of glorie schal entre. [verse 8] Who is this kyng of glorie? the Lord strong and myȝti, the Lord myȝti in batel. [verse 9] Ȝe princes, take vp ȝoure ȝatis, and ȝe euerlastynge ȝatis, be [beth I. be ȝe K sec. m.] reisid; and the kyng of glorie schal entre. [verse 10] Who is this kyng of glorie? the Lord of vertues, he is the [Om. GKV.] kyng of glorie.
