Herie ȝe the Lord, for the salm is good; heriyng be myrie, and fair to oure God. [verse 2] The Lord schal bilde Jerusalem; and [and he I.] schal gadere togidere the scateryngis of Israel. [verse 3] Which [The which I.] Lord makith hool men contrit in herte; and byndith togidere the sorewes of hem. [verse 4] Which noumbrith the multitude of sterris; and clepith names to alle tho. [verse 5] Oure Lord is greet, and his vertu is greet; and of his wisdom is [ther is I.] no noumbre. [verse 6] The Lord takith vp mylde men; forsothe [and I.] he makith low synneris `til to the [vn to I. to the S.] erthe. [verse 7] Bifore synge ȝe to the Lord in knoulechyng; seye ȝe salm to oure God in an harpe. [verse 8] Which hilith heuene [heuens S.] with cloudis; and makith redi reyn to the erthe. Which bryngith forth hei in hillis; and eerbe to the seruice of men. [verse 9] Which ȝyueth mete to her werk beestis; and to the briddys of crowis clepinge [ynclepynge I.] hym. [verse 10] He schal not haue wille in [in to S.] the strengthe of an hors; nether it schal be wel plesaunt to hym in the leggis of a man. [verse 11] It is wel plesaunt to the Lord on men that dreden hym; and in hem that hopen on [in IL.] his mercy.
