thi seruaunt; in which word thou hast ȝoue hope to me. [verse 50] This coumfortide me in my lownesse [lownesse maad bi turment K. that is, maad [bi tor] ment v marg.] ; for thi word quikenede me. [verse 51] Proude men diden wickidli bi alle thingis; but Y bowide not awei fro thi lawe. [verse 52] Lord, Y was myndeful on [of S.] thi domes fro the world; and Y was coum|fortid. [verse 53] Failing helde me; for synneris for|sakinge thi lawe. [verse 54] Thi iustifiyngis weren delitable to me to be sungun; in the place of my pilgrimage. [verse 55] Lord, Y hadde mynde of thi name bi niȝt; and Y kepte thi lawe. [verse 56] This thing was maad to me; for Y souȝte thi iustifiyngis.
