[verse 1] In the goyng out of Israel fro Egipt; of the hous of Jacob fro the [Om. I.] hethene puple. [verse 2] Judee [that is, the lynage of Juda was maad the halowing of him. Lire here. K.] was maad the halewyng of hym; Israel the power of hym. [verse 3] The see siȝ, and fledde; Jordan was turned abac. [verse 4] Mun|teyns ful out ioyeden as rammes; and litle hillis as the lambren of scheep. [verse 5] Thou see,

what was to thee, for thou fleddist; and thou, Jordan, for thou were turned abak? [verse 6] Munteyns, ȝe maden ful out ioye as rammes; and litle hillis, as the lambren of scheep. S.] , and the defendere of hem. [verse 10] The hous of Aaron hopide in the Lord; he is the helpere of hem, and the defendere of hem. [verse 11] Thei that dreden the Lord, hopiden in the Lord; he is the helpere of hem, and the defendere of hem. [verse 12] The Lord was myndeful of vs; and blesside vs. He blesside the hous of Israel; he blesside the hous of Aaron. [verse 13] He blesside alle men [Om. [verse 15] Blessid be ȝe of the Lord; that made heuene and erthe. [verse 16] Heuene of `heuene is [heuenys S.] to the Lord; but he ȝaf erthe [the erthe I.] to the sones of men. [verse 17] Lord, not deed men schulen herie thee; nether alle men that goen doun in to helle. [verse 18] But we that lyuen, blessen the Lord; fro this tyme now and til in to the world.
