[verse 1] Knouleche ȝe to the Lord, and inwardli clepe ȝe his name; telle ȝe hise werkis among hethen men. [verse 2] Synge ȝe to hym, and seie ȝe salm to him, and telle ȝe alle [verse 3] hise merueylis; be ȝe preisid in his hooli name. The herte of men sekynge the [verse 4] Lord be glad; seke ȝe the Lord, and be ȝe confermed; seke ȝe euere his face. [verse 5] Haue ȝe mynde on hise merueilis, whiche he dide; on his grete wondris, and domes of his mouth. [verse 6] The seed of Abraham, his seruaunt; the sones of Jacob, his chosun man. [verse 7] He is oure Lord God; hise domes ben in al the [Om. C et plures.] erthe. [verse 8] He was myndeful of his testament in to the world; of the word which he comaundide in to a thou|synde generaciouns. [verse 9] Which he disposide to Abraham; and of his ooth to Isaac. [verse 10] And he ordeynede it to Jacob in to a comaundement; and to Israel in to euer|lastinge testament. [verse 11] And he seide, I shal ȝiue to thee the lond of Canaan; the cord of ȝoure eritage. [verse 12] Whanne thei weren in a litil noumbre; and the comelingis of hem [him C et plures.] weren ful fewe. [verse 13] And thei passiden fro folk in to folk; and fro a rewme in to another puple. [verse 14] He lefte not a man to anoye hem; and he chastiside kyngis for hem. [verse 15] Nile ȝe touche my cristis; and nyle ȝe do wickidli among my prophetis. [verse 16] And God clepide hungir on erthe; and he wastide al the stidefastnesse of breed. [verse 17] He sente a man bifore hem; Joseph was seeld [sold IKL.] in to a seruaunt. [verse 18] Thei maden lowe hise feet in stockis [feteris W.] , irun passide by his soule; til the word of him cam. [verse 19] The [verse 20] speche of the Lord enflawmede him; the king sente and vnbond hym; the prince of puplis sente and delyuerede him. [verse 21] He ordeynede him the [Om.
