[verse 14] And now the Lord sente [hath sent IS.] me `for to [that I schulde IS.] cure thee, and to [for to I.] de|lyuere Sare, the wijf of thi sone, fro the fend. to ete [Y semyde to ete; aungels apperinge in bodies takun, moun take mete and drynke, and drawe in to the wombes, for this is doon bi bodily mou|yng, and bodily kynde obeyeth to aungels as to bodily mouyng; but aungels turnen not mete and drynke in to the kynde of body as takun by the vertu of nursching; for siche bodies ben not onyd kynd|ly to hem, and therfor tho bodies ben not able to be nurschid. Lire here. C.] and drynke [to drynke IS.] with ȝou; but Y vse vnuysible meete, and drynk that mai not be seyn of men. [verse 20] Therfor it is tyme, that [Om. [verse 21] And whanne he [the aungel IS. thei g.] hadde seide these thingis [wordis g.] , he was takun awei fro her siȝt; and thei [thei thanne S.] myȝten no more se hym. [verse 22] Thanne [And thanne S.] thei felden doun `bi thre ouris [Om. IS.] on [upon IS.] the [her IS.] face [face the space of thre ouris I. face, and leien there the space of thre ouris S.] , and blessiden [thei blessiden IS.] God; and thei risynge vp telden alle hise merueils.
