[verse 1] Also [And INS.] he [Salomon INS.] made a brasun auter of twenti cubitis of lengthe, and of twenti cubitis of [verse 2] breede, and of ten cubitis of heiȝthe; he made also a ȝotun see [see, that is, a weischinge vessel INS.] [see; that is, a greet wasch|ing vessel for prestis. C.] of ten cubitis fro brynke til [Om. I.] to brynke, round bi cumpas; it hadde fyue cubitis of heiȝthe; and a coorde of thritti cubitis cumpasside the cumpas therof. [verse 3] And the licnesse [licnessis X.] of oxis [oxen INS.] was vndur it, and bi ten cubitis summe grauyngis with outforth cumpassiden the brynke of the see as with tweyne ordris; sotheli [and INS.] the oxis [oxen INS.] weren ȝotun. [verse 4] And thilke see was set on [upon IS.] twelue oxis [oxen INS.] , of whiche [the whiche I.] oxis [oxen INS.] thre bihelden to the north, and othere thre to the west, sotheli [and INS.] thre othere bihelden [Om. IN.] the [to the INS.] south, and thre `that weren residue [the remenaunt INS.] bihelden [Om. I.] the [to the I.] eest, and hadden [these hadden IN.] the see set aboue [aboue hem INS.] ; but the hyn|drere [hyndere CSX.] partis of the oxis [oxen INS.] weren with ynne [ynne forth INS.] vndur the see. C.] lilie crokid aȝen, and it [the see INS.] took [heeld N. tooke or heeld S.] thre thousynde metretis [that is, mesuris of wijn K marg.] of mesure. [verse 6] Also he [Salomon INS.] made ten holowe vessels, and settide [he sette INS.] fyue at the riȝtside, and fyue at the leftside [leftside of the see IS.] , that thei [the dekens INS.]
