of forest [the forest IS.] , a man of Bethleem, killide Go|liath of Geth, the brother of giauntis, of whos schaft [shafte or spere S.] the tre was as the beem of webbis. [verse 6] But also another batel bifelde in Geth, in which a ful long man was [that was IS.] , hau|ynge sixe fyngris, that is, togidere [al togidere IS.] foure and twenti, and he was gendrid [goten I.] of the [verse 7] generacioun of Raphaym; he [and he CELP.] blasfemyde Israel, and Jonathan, the sone of Samaa, brother of Dauid, killide hym. These ben the sones of Raphaym in Geth, that felden doun in the hond of Dauid and of hise seruauntis.
