[verse 1] And he [Dauid IS.] made to hym housis in the citee of Dauid, and he bildide `a place [an hous IS.] to the arke of the Lord, and araiede a taber|nacle to it. [verse 2] Thanne Dauid seide, It is vnleueful, that the arke of God be borun [borun aboute IS.] of `ony thing no [oother I. eny othere no S.] but of the dekenes, whiche the Lord chees to bere it, and `for to mynystre [for the mynisterie K. forte ministre L.] to hym `til in to [til to IK pr. m. in to X.] with outen ende. [verse 3] And he [Dauid IS.] gaderide togidere al Israel in to Jerusalem, that the arke of God schulde be brouȝt in to `his place [the place of itIS] , which [the which I.] [verse 4] he hadde maad redy to it; also and he gaderide togidere the sones of Aaron, [verse 5] and the dekenes; of the sones of Caath Vriel was prince, and hise britheren two [verse 6] hundrid and twenti [twenti men S.] ; of the sones of Me|rari Asaya was prince, and hise britheren [verse 7] two hundrid and thritti; of the sones of Gerson the prince was Johel, and hise [verse 8] britheren an hundrid and thretti; of the sones of Elisaphan Semei was prynce, [verse 9] and hise britheren two hundrid; of the sones of Ebroun Heliel was prince, and [verse 10] hise britheren foure score; of the sones of Oziel Amynadab was prince, and hise britheren an hundrid and twelue. [verse 11] And Dauid clepide Sadoch and Abiathar preestis, and the [Om. S.] dekenes Vriel, Asaie [and Asaie IS.] , Johel [and Johel X.] , Semeie [and Semeie S.] , Eliel, and Amynadab; [verse 12] and seide [he seide IS.] to hem, Ȝe that ben princes of the meynees of Leuy, be [be ȝe IS.] halewid with ȝoure britheren, and brynge ȝe the arke of the Lord God of Israel to the place, which [that IS.] [verse 13] is maad redi to it; lest, as [Om.
