wolde hyre fere beo so freo, [wolde: als Sub|jekt ist "y" zu ergänzen.] ant wurþes were þat so myhte beo; [so, i. e. freo.] al for on y wolde ȝeue þreo, wiþ oute chep. from helle to heuene & sonne to see ["Wenn man von der Hölle bis zum Himmel und zur Sonne sieht (sucht), so ist u. s. w.] Line 35 nys non so ȝeep, ne half so freo; whose wole of loue be trewe, do lystne me. Herkneþ me, y ou telle, in such wondryng for wo y welle, Line 40 nys no fur so hot in helle al to mon, þat loueþ derne ant darnout telle whet him ys on.
