Soap Tak 3 Gallons Hard or Soft Water & Boil. While boiling add
one and 1/2 lbs common bar soap shaved fine 1/2 lb borax, 1/2 lb sal soda,
2 table spoons full aqua amonia, 2 table spoons full Spirits turpentine,
and one of Spirits of Camphor boil & stir till thoroughly mixed
pour out & it is ready for use
for hard soap add 12 lbs bar soap to the above color with Chinese blue
or Vermillion & perfume to fancy
