Was sent for this morning by Thom
Son of 26th O.h. United States. Army. Ohio Infantry Regiment, 26th (1864-1865) who is very bad off
with the Scurvy. I done all I could
to alleviate his pains which is but
very little in such a place as this
It is hard to see stout harty men
cripeled up as they are here.
No sick was taken out today as was
expected. Another man was shot
by the guard this mornin instantly killed
