[Lydia] Maria [Child] 2 ALsS fragments to [Anna Loring] and Louisa Loring, Undated
Lydia Maria Child Papers, 1831-1894 [Box 1, Folder 91]
{top of page torn and missing} I have not seen Margaret [?] for many weeks. The weather is so {the remainder of this page is crossed out with a large "X"} oppressively hot, and we are so far apart, that both of us choose to keep snug within the shade of home; which is to me always the coolest place in summer, and the warmest in winter. God bless you all, Your affectionate Aunt Maria. P.S. There was no use in writing this dull note, only to say I love you.
