They have taxed father for the $3000 dollars, which he originally invested in them, but which now bring him in no income at all. Excuse me for troubling you. I was born to be your plague, and I must fulfil my mission. Please answer in the course of a week, or ten days, if you can without much inconvenience. How sorry, and ashamed, and provoked I am, about those Worcester emigrants arrested in Missouri. How much longer must we endure such things? I pity the emigrants, whose situation is, I think dangerous. But
