To Eny Gentlemen who will lend the Bearer
Lieut. Thornton of my company what money
he shall want to help him & the men that is
with him Home I will send the money from
Congress immediately.— Per. me. James Ansgood

Shillings and desired said Chase to let Daniel
Branard & Thomas Pitts have each one Dollar if they
call for it.——
