Claremont 22d. of August 1781

Sir,
I apprehend the time present time, to divide
the Company in Claremont not to be so Salu=
=tary for its Inhabitants— Espasally till the
Motives are for so doing. till are considered
and the circomstances of the Company at this
time. there has bene Special Orders given to the
Company. and sudden Shifts of Orders may
not be so good. the Unity of the Company in
divideing may have a good tendecy tendency
but nothing of this nature has at present has
been tryd.
