BLYDENBURGH NANCHANG, KIANGSI CHINA Sunday A.M.May25,1924 Dear Folks on Farm Hill: Another Sunday.Next Sunday W~ will b in Kuling,we expect.Friday we go to Kiu~ kiang where we will stay all night.Saturday morning, f in good season we will start up the mountain.We ought to get uu in time for our noon meal.Mrs.Smithwent up last week so we are to have our first meal with her as we did last year. She is the one who had a baby the week after Stuart was born'you know.She is ex~ p~ting another in about a month! Her two will be as near of an age as George and Stuart. The package containing 'the balls of darning cotton,handkerchiefs,thread,brush,snaps,and needles came the middle of last week.! was very much pleasQ to get them.! am glad they arrived before we starte for Kuling.Thank you very much for sending them. I am not sure whether I shall use the brush for a back brush or for a clothes brush!!' I am glad to say a letter came from you this past weeK,too,dated'Aprl1 22.It took it just about a month. I wonder if Alice really is in Middletown by this time.I shall wait with great interest your next letter to find out if she did close the house deal with the man who seemed to be anxious to buy the house.! hope she did.
