acted as the mistress of ceremonies, and remarks were supplied by Mrs. C. Franklin, Mrs.
Hamilton, Mrs. Wynn and Mr.
Tarver. Tea was. served along
with a musical | program. Musical numbers~ were rendered by
the Harmony Trio, Miss Della
Wynn, and Miss Bettye Johnston. The committee on arrangements was composed of Mmes.
Fannie Ross, Mercides Rodgers,
Mattie Santer, Susie Franklin
and Carrie Jackson, who all
worked together to make their
first, social even a real success.
