Denny downed Hammond three times.in that round, the first for the count of Jackie Collura in a ten round -bout in 1943 after Collura took from Jackie Wilson. He also beat Sol ued 7 which put Hammond out and by rights the fight should have been stopped then, for when he arose, he was so dazed that he was unable to offer any resistance. Benny finally wound the fight up with a hard left. McCombs~ next fight will be a main event in Chicago. Costa was just not the man to beat Flint~s blond bomber: Jock downed Coasta in the first round and from then on, it~ was a fight, for Costa came back strong each round to take and give until the fateful sims when ~~~ et ee, ee = \eescececces: TRADE AT ST.
