The cult leader claims that following the fall of Jack Johnson from the throne, when it was being boasted that rfo other Negro would become champion, he set about to find a suitable representative to make a new Negro king of heavyweights. At the: time of Louis~ birth, Divine said he instilled his spirit in the boxer, gave him lightning fists, thus predestining him to reigm as champ. THORNTON DR. J. A. THORNTON Climacteric In The Male (Charge of Life) -Do men go through the menopause? [t has been a known fact that the change of life occurs in all females at~ puberty and the menopause, this change of life is called climacteric. | have always had the belief that men as well go through the change of life. Now it is a known fact that man is subject to varying degrees of sexual function and does have a climacteric (change of life). The most prevalent time this decline occurs in man is in the later life, approximately ~| from the ages of 45 to 55. During the change many women have difficulties. I am inclined to believe that as many men as women suffer, especially imbalances: to the nervous system. Most patients describe nervousness or the feeling of tension, on arising in the morning, ra a tiring day, or the least bit of excitement, sometimes this is mistaken for hyperthyroidism (increase in thyroid or climacteric. in potency and libido (sexual power), the noises of children, radio,. almost anything _ stirs them into action They are hard to please, frequently their family or associates can hardiy get along with them, unfavorable news, and slight mishaps that ordinarily would not bother the average person makes them extremely nervous and in a mental flurry. They complain of sleeping poorly or awaking during the night for two or three hours, even though they may go to sleep readily, this causes them a awaken tired. There is a numbness of the limbs, upon arising there is difficulty in arising, there is an_ itching crawling sensation of the skin. There are symptoms of mental depression, concentrations, decrease in memory, melancholia, loss of interest in work, home, or other pleasurable diversions, the patient is so forgetful they cannot recall the most recent events or things just read. Some times there is a loss or gain of weight, hot flashes and a smothering sensation is one of the most common occurrences in men as well, they know something is wrong, they want to avoid people, may cry for no_ special reason, fear of some impending danger, they become introverts, are ill at ease, developing a definite psychosis, having thouglftq of destrucfion, and actually committing suicide after thoughts of futility and loss of self-confidence. Men have been known to have all examinations, blood pressure, normal, urine _and blood test negative. What is it? ~The Change of Life~ lasting Over a period of six~ to: ten years, the correct treatments can help the average patient in these difficulties. ~WE CATER TO PARTIES - PHONE 9-1976 Prop.: Phil Johnson & Lelia Sinclair Stx Million Trillion Electrons About six million trillion electrons flow through the electric light os - @ lamp table.. The area most concerned is the Third Ward, where most of the Negroes of the Northside. live. This section considering all things is~ a law abiding section. If an horrest-toness effort was made to find out the real facts and then something was to b2 done to rectify the evils the Third Ward, would be 100 per cent for it. We have seen investigations before. Especially when the political pot is boiling. We have become steamed up; and after the investigation and when! the political pot stops boiling, the same people are doing business as usual in the same places and everyone is lovey-dovey again. That has always been the score. Implications and heresay are playing their part in the condition that is developing in the Third Ward. There may not be a cure for all of our ills, We do know and b2lieve that conditions can be greafly improved if we have some representatior in the Flint city government. Forces ave working and conditions aré of such a nature that we can hav2 a colored man integrated into the city government of Flint.
