Hart Reports On Gvil Rights Program | ~The President reports a most impressive two-year record of Executive accomplishments in civil rights. This record is unequalled in American history and all Americans should salute tae responsible leadership the President has given in this critical area. ~The legislative recommendations for action on voting, school assistance and extension of the Civil Rights Commission are constructive and modest recommen-. dations, but the loss of the Rule | ~XXII fight at the opening of Con= means this will be a tough job: ~If we had successful in our 1958 and 1960 att to get better machipery op the assignment of voting refeltek bam confident the delays that have been experienced in the voting area would not have occurred. ~The President suggested that we give interim relief in voting suits with the appointment of temporary voting referees.
