Ist Jehovah's Witness Rev. Robbs announced to a repo Assembly packed church that neither he \+ nor the church had called the election, that he was not going to attempt to prevent the election but intimidated that anyone participating in the election might be charged with trespassing. Many of those present then left. Transcribing the meeting was Mrs. Virginia Dean court reporter for the Municipal Court of the City of Flint. i. Mr, Charles Washington, Jr., was elected temporary chairman. It was moved and seconded to restore all deposed members to their rightful membership in the church. The motion was carried. Eleeted permanent chairman was Johnson Buchanan who explained the procedure for voting. Ballots and an election box were provided and the house was polled. According to Mr. Buchanan there were 128 persons present. The question presented was ~Are ~ Congregational arad. for the first Jehovah~s Witness Circuit Assembly of 1962 were completed when delegates from the Flint Central Unit Congregation attended an organizational meeting at Owosso this week. Lawrence C. De Curval, spokesman for the local group, reported to the Congregation last nite that 25 departments have been set-up for transportation, housing, feeding and instructing the 1,500 delegates expected at the Mt, Pleasant Assembly, March 9-11. Individually and as_ family groups Witnesses here are completing their plans to attend even though 30 accommodations for the three-day assembly training program have not been listed yet. Many of the delegates from here will be staying in the private homes of responsible people in the Mt.
