This is the, beginning of the resumption ~of the church~s picnic that was discon-| tinued a fiumber of years ago. Committees were- set up to plan the affair. Each person was responsible for their own lunches -with the church sponsoring ice cream, cookies and pun\h. The children had a wonderful time playing games and racing each other for prizes. Several people went swimming and boating, A ~ball game between the B.T.U. and the Sunday School was one of the main features of the picnic. The Sunday Scheol won. At the close of. the outing, the kids took part in a peanut scramble. Those responsible for the successful affair were Mrs, Rosalie Jones, Superintendent; Wyatt James; Ezra Broadmax; Raymond L.
