Sports Travel Show Opens On May 14th Patrons oh the Sports and ~Travel Show at the Light Guard Armory May 14 through 18 will be able to see the newest fighting equipment of Uncle Sam~s arméd forces. H. ~Bill~ Sachane:~ director of the show, afnounced Saturday that the Armed Forces Day committee had agreed to furnish a display of America~s mighty, arsenal in front of the armory Aluring the show. Buchner said that it is expected the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps will participate in the giant display. He also announced that. peace officers would take part in the entertainment inside the building in nightly demonstrations by the Detroit Judo Club. Many members of the club are also members of the Police Judo team. -The self-defense skills of: the judo specialists will be on view between the two giant floor shows each night. Buchner also said that two seven-day, all-expense cruises to Georgian Bay, aboard either the S. S. South American or North} American, will be awarded free to some patron of the show.
