Recipients off Watkins Brothers Give ~Teen~ Dance Leon and Jay Watkins, probably better known for their athletic prowess, may have the Midas touch with teen-agers, Last Saturday night at the Pioneer Hall, they promoted -the first of a,series of teen, dances. While the dance didn~t. draw a standing-room-only crowd, the young people who attended seemed to have enjoyed the evening, ~ Music was -by recordings, which didn~t deter the frolicking. Dance promoters, Leon and Jay, said they were pleased. with the turnout and the behavior of the younger set. ~As ~long as the teen-agers conduct themselves as ladies and gentlemen and turnout to our affairs, we will provide them a chance to enjoy themselves and to be entertained by those teenagers who have talent,~ confided Jay Watkins..
