Univ..: ed all the Democratic candidates ~NEW YORK.~Rutgers Uni-| ~ Rev. G H. Williams The second greatest miracle in the world is the healing of human bodies. This miracle is.as great as the miracle.of salvation. Divine healing is also a fulfillment of the Propheey. The gospel says (Isaiah 35: 5-6): ~Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame man shall leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing:. This prophecy was certainly fulfilled by Christ, for the gospel of aMtthew (8:16) says that, ~When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed w:th devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick.. The Sane~ efficient approach to the idea of healing is to surrender oneself ecmpletely to God, to: put oneself in~o the loving hands of the eternal Gd. Divine healing is a part of the Gospel, | and is a divine priv lege. Healing is an integral part of the Gospel, flowing from the very heart of a loving God. Even after Christ~s departure from~ their midst, the disciples. con-! tinued to heal the sick. Healing sitions, was meant to be a ~oteahint part of church ritual, and there are instances of nealing in every age. As the world and cortsin parts of the church became more ~0 -phisticated, miracles went out of vogue. The cause did not rest with God, but grew out of a lack of~ faith on the part of man. For God and His word were relegated to minor poEven today, the Lord heals those who believe. a During the years that he spent -on earth, God did not heal unbelievers. For those of you who are in need of healing, God~s healing power can reach your m'nd and your body if only you will surrender yourself to the Master and believe! Open letter to Citizens of | Flint: My sincere thanks to all of the people who voted for me in the recent Board of Edu versity is congratulated by the}. a NAACP for establishing a dead-| line date for elimination of fraternity discrimination, in a letter made public here today. Herbert L.: Wright, NAACP youth secretary, told Ruigers Dean Cornelius Boocock that ~with more colleges following this lead. we could very quickly and easily move this ugly blight of discrimination which exists in our institutions of higher education.~ ~ Rutgers University has~ announced that by Sept. 1,, 1959, campus fraternities with racial and religious exclusion clauses must have removed such clauses from: their constitutions or face expulsion from the, university.
