A. Williams Rev. G H. Williams What is GRACE? It is the unmerited favor and love of God for man. Grace is one of the Christian virtues, far surpassing natural virtue which only serves to make the body pure: Grace, the Christian virtue, serves to purify both body and soul.? It is the result of the Holy Spirit working in our hearts; causing not only.man~s body to be good,.but also purifying his inward spiritual being. Most of our frierids and associates are acquainted with and often judge us ~by our physical appearance. God, on the other hand, sees right through the body to the spirit, the soul of man. This is the basis for judging our worth in God~s eyes. The condition of man~s soul determines what the future holds-for him and where he will spend eternity! get Knowing this, it would seem an easy matter for man to draw close to the omnipotent being of God. This is not however, the case, for there are far too many Prodigal Sons in the worki today. The prodigal son wonders away from and alienates himself from God, the Father, but upon his return, he always firids ~the Fleavenly Father ~waiting with out-. stretched arms. God offers all prodigals a love~great enough to forgive all past deeds and to offer a Bright rewarding future. The great Apostle Paul was bevare his conversion; a cruel and vile persecutor of his fellowmen and was puffed up with pride. However, once God~s bountiful grace reached ~Paul, he humbled himself and dedicated his life to the cause of Christianity. In the great battle for righteousness, God as~sured him that GRACE alone was a sufficietit weapon. Satan often causes conflicts among God~s people and a Christian warrior falls on the field of battle. The grave of God lifts up those fallen warriors and sustains them through to the victory. If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father.~I John 2:1. - We are living in the days of Grace, so let us grow in Grace and in the knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ. ~The grace of God that brings Salvation - And teaches righteousness Appeareth unto every nation, Their darkened ~souls to bless. a His wondrous gracé is Lal sufficient,. And hours of fig Are. sanctified by God omniscient If we his arotgiee ple lead Within the heart his grace abounding Will give us pow~r to ~ Thro~ Jesus when the foe s surrounding The victory we shall gain.~ iStars... |nenf Australia, for 3 weeks. ~|England states.
