Inasmuch as we have redeived such encouraging responseto my articles on ~Outboard Cruising,~ ~Negroes in Speedboat Racing,~ ~How to Water Ski,~ and ~The Airplane for Pleasure and Business,~ I shall be pleased to clarify some personal questions. I have lived a very rich life in new experiences and extensive travel. Airplanes and horses have played an interesting role in my travels around the world (two times). True, the nickname ~play boy~ has clung to me, but not because of any great fancy for the company of beautiful. women..My friends call by this nickname because they know me to be an enthusiast for any type of outdoor sport and games, which give me the thrilling sense of mastery of things that the average person would consider death defying. Hunting bear with bow and arrows, riding wild broncs. and bucking outlaw horses, riding ~wild brahman bulls: for prize money in rodeos, flying _aerobatic in airshows, stunting on water skis, and midget auto acing can be considered a_bit risky. meeting ce ges qualify me. The recent craze of skin diving and spear: fish ~ing has attracted ~my fancy. 1 am anxious -to go out to the west coast and try my hand at spearing a man-eating tiger shark in a: skin: diving outfit. participate in activity. other a Pleasure driving, run-ofoe ~ghrce dances, inquire our Y.M.C.A. or the Y.W.C. A., or other similar organizations. Usually they are eager to accept young people into their programs. Many times, we are busy limiting our social scope, rather than taking lio an gd of the many many interest ots Ae -. Periences that are available ~ those who would accept dian. Give yourself a chance to live a full life. Most of the time, all that is required is an interest, wholesome~ attitude, and the ability. to get along with others. At this point, let me put you at ease as to the originality of my articles. The articles written are based on personal experience, and not- condensed from previous publications.
