Service is printing a series of articles pertaining to the filing of income tax returns which will contain general information.

An anonymous informer told Sheriff Don H. Car=.
michael that a betting ring was operating outside the
city of Flint.

Last Sunday investigation was begun. Upon infor:
mation received county deputies were able to spot the
car the individuals used. They observed his routine
before pulling him in for questioning. His name is
Roscoe Jones, 35, of 218 KE. Seventh St. at the County
Jail. Jones told that the headquarters of the operation
was at 222 Kennelworth.

County officers called in city detective Wed.,
Mar. 1, to help with the arrests. They found nine men
in the "establishment, gambling equipment, numbers
books and some cash.
