Ninth Anniversary AS él ks*~Rest The Lapaloma~ Shrine Club of Vehicle Lodge No. 1036 and Genesee Temple No. 550 gave its ninth anniversary party at the Elks~ Rest, 2901 St. John St. This annual affair is given to stimulate - fellowship among the good brother and daughters of Elkdome. ~The officers of the Lapaloma Shrine~ Club are: president, Mrs. Lelia Maddox; vice president Mrs. Gussie Palmer; financial secretary Mrs. Annie Holt; recording secretary, Mrs, Martha Beck; treasurer, Mrs. Hattie Hunter; chaplain, Mr. Al Hunter. The social session chairman is Mrs. Nina Young and the assistant social session chairman is Mrs. Madelyn Mackey. The honored guets at the ninth annual party were: Grand Director William Mitchell of Detroit and Daughter Ruler Mrs. -Ladesta Hamilton and Exalted Ruler Mr. Albert Harper. Other guests included Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Alexender, Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Hambrick, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Love, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Richard Witt, the mesdames Ro-| setta Boyd, Ola Hughes Smith, Leo A.
