After waiting for ~over twenty minutes _ for ~ the waitress to| take his order, he finally requested service. He was informed by the young lady. that &hé could not serve them. ~Rev. Clemmons: requested to see ~the proprietor, ~but he refused to come out. On July 20, 1954, two staff members of THE, BRONZE. RE~PORTER were refused service in ~the' same establishment. Ifthe proprietor, after receiving the letter from the prosecutor~s office, continues to refuse service to Negroes, then civil suit will be instituted.
