AClub No. 5 cf the Flint Community Homemakers completed ~ their course in Home Nursing last Thursday night. ~These classes were = % the Elm Park School with Knapp teaching and = Mrs. Fannie. Jackson~ helping whenever netessary. The. women who made up this class felt that Miss Knapp had ~been very understanding and helpful to all that they presented her with a three pound ox of candy:-To Mrs. Jackson for her he!p they presented her with a hon7 -kerchief from each of the ladies ~ This showed a lovely spirit cn th ae part of the women. They are always very thoughtful of those who work with them. Monday nignt, December 22, the club. will have jts Xmas party at the Elm Park school where the classes have been held. Girls Scout Troop No. 63 will have a Xmas party on the 17th at the Center. Girls Scout Troop No. 117 will have its Xmas party on the 18th at the Center.
