Across the front of the dance fioor was one long table beautifully decorated for niembers and thetr guests: As I glanced here and there I observed some-of the following: Mr, and Mrs. Clarence Starks, Miss Myrtle Burks and Mr. Abe Myers enjcyins themselves to the highest~Mrs. Booker Barton 1ooking beautiful as ever. The gorgeous corsage of red roses that. Mrs. William Fnnis' (formerly Miss Jessie Burks) nad on. ~Miss Ruby Turner wearing.a very beautiful Pale bine formal. (I understand she made it herself too). Miss Gloria Dear Mills looking very attractive in a formal that fitted big tightly through the torso with @ very full- skirt. It certainly did justice to. her cute figure. Oh! Yes,-I can~t forget the men, Mr. ~A? Washington looking _~ like Esquire himself in his neatly fitted tails. Great Revival Announced FILNT, Mich~Reverend W. A. Vaughn announces the beginning of a great spiritual revival] beginning May 19 and carrying on thru the second of June at Golden Leaf Baptist church. The Rev. W. C. Simmons of Detroit wiil be the ininister. He is a powerful preacher, full of information and inspiration.
